The days are getting shorter, the leaves have almost all fallen from the trees, and we've already had a dusting of snow. Autumn in Alaska can be a bitter sweet time, where we say goodbye to the long days of summer, but at the University of Alaska Anchorage--I get the pleasure of saying hello to the first cohort of graduate students to join the Bishop Lab!!
This fall Kyle, Ana, and Natalie have all started their journeys to study marine mammal behaviors, physiology and health. More updates will come as the semester goes on, but I can't wait to see what they accomplish!
